On the AP2 hike north of Echternach

In summer 2020, I walked the surprisingly beautiful blue autopedestre trail number 2 in Echternach. It leads north along the Sauer valley.
After passing through the city, the trail quickly ascends the steep climb to the hill Ierelchen reaching the chapel and the viewpoint of the city. The massive Wilibrord Basilica and the rest of the town emerge from among the trees. The trail then runs along the hill to the Wolf's Lair rocks. The descent from the hill is not as steep as the climb from the Echternach. We reach the Sauer River to return to the town with her company.
