Irrel Waterfalls on the Prüm River - located 5 km east of the Luxembourg border. A panoramic place with a beautiful gorge and a covered bridge towering over it. Nearby is the ruin of Prumerburg Castle. Another interesting piece is one of the three remaining bunkers of the Westwall - Katzenkopf in Irrell (you need to contact the local firefighters by phone to see the museum, visiting possible on Saturday or Sunday). If you decide to go to around Irrel (the waterfall, the castle, the bunker) loop is about 10km long.

The Prümerburg is a ruined hill castle on a roughly 30-metre-high lias-sandstone rock on the upper edge of the valley of the Prüm in the municipality of Prümzurlay in the county of Bitburg-Prüm in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Siegfried Line Museum (German: Westwallmuseum Irrel) lies near the German-Luxembourg border in the Eifel mountains. It is housed in a bunker that was part of the former Siegfried Line (Westwall), the Katzenkopf Strongpoint (Panzerwerk Katzenkopf), which was built from 1937 to 1939. The bunker and museum lies within the municipality of Irrel and have been open to visitors since 1979. Together with other bunkers the Panzerwerk Katzenkopf was built to guard the main road from Cologne to the city of Luxembourg. It is the northernmost strongpoint in the Siegfried Line.
